Family is truly the most precious gift that life has to offer! I am so grateful for my job as a NYC baby and family photographer and feel so very privileged to be able to capture one of the most precious moments in a family’s life: The arrival of a new baby! Capturing those early days with your little one is a joy.
This was an especially sweet NYC baby and family newborn session because the baby girl came to my Brooklyn studio not only with her mom but also with her grandma and older sister (14 years between big sister and baby). It was such a pleasure to photograph three generations of amazing women! Because I know how important relationships are, I make sure to provide newborn photo collections that include images of family. Parents, grandparents, and siblings are always welcome!
Little Zariah Dore was 4 weeks new when she and her family came for newborn pictures. And she was a dream baby to photograph! She was very sleepy, which made it easy to pose her and get all of the images we wanted. If you need tips on how to get baby to sleep for their session, just ask!
Mom chose pink, lavender, and mint colors for this baby girl’s newborn session. So pretty! We also used some neutral colors and black and white photos for our three-generation photos and portraits of the baby girl separately with her mama, her grandma, and her big sister. Neutral colors often work well for group portraits since they are easy to coordinate outfits for. They also make for beautiful art!
