I remember it like it was yesterday.
You’re running to doctor’s appointments, decorating the nursery, choosing the perfect name for your little one, and anxiously awaiting their arrival. Once they’re here, you want to remember every little moment - from their teeny-tiny fingers to their little button nose. But here’s the thing. Before you know it, your little one won’t be so little anymore, outgrowing their newborn clothes, taking their first steps, and saying their first word.
Your baby won’t always be this little. Let me help you remember every little detail with timeless photographs to make your memories last a lifetime.
As a mom of three, I know first-hand how quickly time passes and how quickly your baby will grow. I believe that documenting your baby’s first year is precious; it freezes a fleeting moment in time, and creates heirlooms that you’ll treasure forever.
My journey into photography started after I had my children - it became an obsession to document their lives. I often look back on my photographs from years ago and the emotions of that moment come flooding back. Photography has the ability to take us back in time and make our most treasured memories feel like it was yesterday.
I work with parents who want to document their baby’s first year, with moms who want to get in front of the camera (instead of behind it!), and with families who want heirloom images that can be treasured for a lifetime.
I remember it like it was yesterday. I received my first camera for my 30th birthday, excited at the prospect of being able to capture beautiful moments with my then-nine, seven, and three-year old. And then I saw the dials and functions and was instantly overwhelmed.
Undeterred, I felt a calling to photography and knew I was capable. I invested in classes, mentorships, and workshops to learn industry-leading techniques, not only with shooting, but also posing, wrapping, and editing babies.
I’m often asked why I work exclusively with expectant mothers, newborns and babies. The best answer I have is that working with newborns is “in me”. Before I became a photographer, I worked in infant child care for almost 10-years, so documenting newborns was a natural fit as it aligned with my past experiences. My clients often call me a “Baby Whisperer” as I am able to delicately pose, wrap, and soothe even the fussiest little one.
I capture clean, classic, and timeless images that you and your family will treasure for a lifetime. Your baby is only this little once; let me help you make your memories last a lifetime.

Rochel is such an amazing photographer & she's so gentle & patient & works extremely well with newborns. My daughter was 9 days old when we did her photoshoot & I was so pleasantly surprised with Rochel's work ethic."
